Financial Assistance

Program Details

Clients in need of assistance come to Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry (GHCCM) for help in a crisis or for on-going life circumstances. Client Services serves as the first stop for our clients to inquire about receiving services for help. Our clients may need the following financial assistance:

  • Eviction prevention (rent and mortgage)
  • Utility disconnection prevention
  • Crisis Financial Aid
  • Referrals to outside community agencies and churches
  • Gas Vouchers
  • Car Repairs

All financial assistance is given on a case by case basis depending on funding available.

ELIGIBILITY

Bring the following with you to your appointment:

  • Picture ID
  • Proof of Address
  • Verification of ALL household INCOME for the most recent 4 week, including pay stubs, social security or disability benefits letter, unemployment, public assistance, child support, alimony
  • Verification of ALL household EXPENSES and most recent bank statement(s)
  • Disconnect/Past Due Notice or Eviction Notice

HOURS OF OPERATION

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
Friday: 8:00 A.M. – noon
