Clients in need of assistance come to Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry (GHCCM) for help in a crisis or for on-going life circumstances. Clients must be homeless to receive the services listed below. GHCCM provides a variety of services to eligible adults living in Catawba County.
SERVICE | HOURS | ELIGIBILITY |
Shower | 8AM – 1:30PM Mon-Fri | Client must be homeless and have no access to running water. |
Laundry | 8AM – 12PM Mon – Thu | Client must be responsible for laundry while receiving services. |
8AM – 4:30PM Mon – Thu | Client must have no physical mailing address to receive mail. Mail can be picked up on behalf of another neighbor through proxy pick-up only. Call our main number for instruction on how to receive mail. | |
Crisis Clothing Closet | 8AM – 4:30PM Mon – Fri | Clients are served once a month for clothing. Exceptions can be determined by Client Services for additional items that may be needed throughout the month. All clothing distribution is contingent upon availability. |
Barber Service | 8AM – 12PM Tue & Thu | Must be Homeless or a patient of the Clinic or the Pharmacy. |
Volunteer Pastoral Services | Tue & Thu | Open to all. |
