There are numerous milestones in the history of GHCCM. One of the most recent additions in 2019 is the development of the Whole Life Center: a wholistic (whole person) center for ‘next step’ services to assist our neighbors to gain independence from the poverty cycle.
Digital literacy and job search assistance are two components that are essential in the pathway to independence.
We are living in a digital world, and doors open as knowledge is gained through the use of digital learning. GHCCM has partnered with Northstar Digital Literacy to test computer skills and to build skills by growing an understanding of digital literacy topics.
Individualized computer classes are taught at the Whole Life Center:
