We provide Rapid ReHousing (RRH) and Homeless Prevention (HP) housing programs for precariously housed folks.
We provide SSO-CE (Supportive Service Only – Coordinated Entry) to our Neighbors in Catawba, Caldwell, Alexander, Burke and McDowell Counties. Through the Back@Home program, we serve those in Catawba, Caldwell and Alexander Counties.
RRH Housing Program Qualifications:
- SSO-SE
- Living on the streets or at a shelter
- Must have an income and be able to self-maintain once housed
- No max income restrictions
- Must provide proof of homelessness
- Must provide proof of income
HP Housing Program Qualifications:
- Back@Home
- Sofa surfing
- Living in a hotel paid for by DSS
- 30% AMII (Average Median Income) for the county income maximum
- Must provide proof of income
- Must provide proof of living situation
The process for housing programs:
- Call 211 and follow the Back@Home prompts
- Register your location by zip code
- You will be contacted in the next two weeks by a housing case manager based on your priority level
- CCM has no real estate of its own. All neighbors must obtain a 12-month lease with a landlord.
- We assist with move-in expenses. Neighbors must be capable of becoming financially self-sufficient within 90 days of program start date
- All Back@Home recipients (RRH & HP) agree to actively participate in required monthly case management
