PROGRAM DETAILS

Neighbors in need of assistance come to Greater Hickory Cooperative Christian Ministry (GHCCM) for help in a crisis or for on-going life circumstances. The Neighbor Engagement Team serves as the first stop for our neighbors to inquire about receiving services for help. Our neighbors may need the following financial assistance:

Eviction prevention (rent and mortgage)
Utility disconnection prevention
Crisis Financial Aid
Referrals to outside community agencies and churches

ELIGIBILITY

Bring the following with you to your appointment:

Picture ID
Proof of Address
Verification of ALL household INCOME for the most recent 4 week, including pay stubs, social security or disability benefits letter, unemployment, public assistance, child support, alimony
Verification of ALL household EXPENSES and most recent bank statement(s)
Disconnect/Past Due Notice or Eviction Notice
